Wrecking Ball? Men Throw Out Miley Cyrus' Name Before Picking Bar Fights: Cops

The three men were charged with battery.

Three men strode into a North Hickory Street bar, dropped Miley Cyrus' name and picked a couple fights, police said.

The men—Daniel Lahey, 26, of 2424 Morning Glory Lane in Crest Hill, Robert Krapil, 27, of 2806 Amanda Court in Joliet, and Ryan Elliott, 27, of 1310 Cora St. in Joliet—all were charged with battery in connection with the alleged dustup at Lety's Place about 9 p.m. Sunday.

The three men walked into the bar and "started talking about Miley Cyrus," police said.

They then "made fun" of a patron in the 901 N. Hickory St. bar before Elliott punched him in the face, police said. Elliott's two pals reportedly lent their fists and feet to help him out.

Another man in the bar pointed out "it wasn't cool, three guys fighting with one guy," so Elliott, Lahey and Krapil turned on him, police said.

The three men were released on their own recognizance.
