When and how did your business get started?

I opened my practice in 2009 just after becoming licensed as a clinical psychologist to practice independently in the state of Illinois.

What is your business best known for?

We offer psychological services to adults, children, and families. We have two psychologists, three licensed clinical professional counselors and one licensed clinical social worker in our practice. We offer counseling/therapy and psychological assessment/testing.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

Our psychological testing/assessments can be utilized for a variety of reasons, including assessing for learning disabilities and/or attention deficits in school-aged children; assessing for depression, anxiety, or other conditions to help guide proper treatments for all ages; providing documentation for disabilities; or providing information to the courts for criminal cases where psychological issues need to be assessed (just to name a few). Testing includes intellectual (IQ) and other cognitive assessments, personality testing and projective testing, like the Rorschach inkblot test.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

I chose Joliet because I lived nearby and liked that Joliet was a busy, central location with easy access to multiple neighboring towns.
