Or...until people stop shopping for dogs at pet stores thus eliminating the demand. As long as…Read More people keep buying dogs this way, there will be puppy mills.

Ha! I knew it! I told my ex-MIL this was the case with them and she bought a dog from there…Read More anyway. The dog is very sweet and I can't blame the poor dog, but places like this should be sued into the ground and not allowed to exist anywhere. How awful! I would never buy from a place like that. I would never buy from a breeder. I want a good old-fashioned mutt!

Joliet should be very careful about this. Convention centers hardly ever make money (except for the…Read More contractors who build them). Also, Joliet can't compete with Champaign - it has one of the largest, most prestigious universities in the world. Galena has a thriving tourist industry. Joliet has neither. Why would someone hold a convention in Joliet with a thriving global city only one hour away?
Joliet's and Will County's strategy of building business around low wage, low education jobs can't last forever (like casinos, prisons, transportation and trucking,). Conventions bring more low wage work (maids, food service staff). Why can't it copy what good cities do and put money into jobs around technology and education - it should be no surprise that Naperville and Bloomington have a kids museum, but no casino or prison.

There will be a larger decline in the demand for pay-per-use Wi-Fi services as mobile carriers…Read More continue to launch data plans and smartphones that have the capabilities to act as a mobile hotspot.
The nations two largest mobile providers (AT&T and Verizon) offer shared data plans with the ability to add a tablet for an additional $10/month or a hotspot for an additional $20/month. Adding another $10 per month at most plan tiers will get you an additional 2GB of data to use throughout that month, and you can use that data anywhere - not just on Metra. In most cases, this is a much better value than paying $40/month for a service that you can only use on the train. Also, take the Rock Island - If you live in Blue Island (one of the first suburban stops), you're getting less value for $40/month than a Joliet commuter is.
Additionally, I can't see how they're going to get enough bandwidth on the train to service the entire populous of the train. When I use my smartphone or iPad, I get the full bandwidth of an LTE connection for myself as opposed to a single LTE connection shared between an entire car (or more).
Finally, are the conductors going to have to become Wi-Fi experts? Who do you call when you have a problem? What's the service reliability going to be like? As a paid service, this just doesn't seem like a good model. In 2005 it would have been a smash hit. It's just too late in 2013 for this.
Now if it were offered for free, this changes everything....

It was a one year contract instead of the city's two year contract. It's easy, put in your zip and it will give you the current rate and the rate you are now paying. It's a no brainer.

Señor Tequila on Jefferson St has the best margaritas and best REAL AUTHENTIC mexican food in…Read More town, my wife and i were very satisfied when i went there for the first time a few weeks back, and we will keep coming back. I had a Number 6 Combo, with a carne asada, chili releno, and enchilada. It was out of this world. My wife had the "Northern style" tacos....and we have never seen them anywhere else and were delicious. The service was fantastic, our server was Beth, and she was very attentive to our needs! The Manager came by our table and asked how everything was doing! Everything was delicious and it made us feel more welcomed when the manager came by to check on us, he is a young guy, but does appear to have a lot of restaurant experience, and customer service oriented! I definitly recommend people to go there! I used to go to La Mex but i wont be back over there! Señor Tequila requires T-shirts with sleeves, and i found that out the hard way, but luckily that day i had a shirt in the car, and definitely dont mind wearing my shirt with sleeves to go and enjoy the best mexican food and margaritas in chicagoland area!

CAT is just the first. More companies will follow. The Obamacare act has stated that people working…Read More 30 hours or more a week or more will be considered full-time, and companies with more than 50 employees have to provide healthcare for employees or be fined. So what's going to happen? Hours will be cut 2 less than 30 hours a week for less than 50 employees and you'll have 2 get your own healthcare or YOU will be fined. Less hours, less pay, can't afford insurance but pay the fine. Big layoffs are starting! Don't believe me???
