Barolo Ristorante, formerly in downtown Joliet, is operated by chef/owner Gaetano (Guy) Turi, who has 35 years experience in the restaurant industry since his formal training at the Italian Culinary School in Rome.
The menu features fresh seafood flown in daily, pasta, dry-aged steaks and chops, chicken, veal, rack of lamb, risotto, salads, paninis and signature desserts such as the chocolate cheeseburger with pineapple fries or chocolate Grand Marnier crème brulee. Appetizers include fried or grilled calamari, Maryland blue crab cakes and portabella mushroom sticks.
