2 Joliet Basketball Officials Will Call Action at State Finals

Joliet's Nick Cladis and Manhattan's Bob Horvath have been selected to work the Class 3A/4A boys basketball state finals March 15-16 in Peoria.

If they weren't wearing the striped shirts of IHSA basketball officals, there is a good chance you wouldn't notice Nick Cladis and Bob Horvath—even in the heat of March Madness.

The two men call the game, but let the players enjoy the spotlight.

Both have been selected to work in the Class 3A/4A boys basketball state finals March 15-16 at Peoria's Civic Center. The two share the distinction of becoming the first two Joliet Basketball Officials Association members to work the state finals at the same time, according to the JBO.

Cladis, a Joliet resident, also will be working the Class 3A supersectional on Tuesday, March 12, at Joliet Central. Horvath, a resident of Manhattan, will be calling the action in the Class 3A supersectional Tuesday, March 12, at Hoffman Estates.

You can follow all of the action on the IHSA's official website.

You need to put the correct phone number. You have 8 numbers listed instead of 7.

Maybe some new manhole lids with rubber rings to stop all the flooding of peoples houses,AndRead More actually climb down in the manhole and see if it is leaking instead of paying all of these people in Joliet getting flooded out by YOUR SANITARY System. Some paint being scrapped off the City Hall Hand Rails that will cut ya up.
