Joliet West Students Sign Letters of Intent

Joliet West High School honored 22 students on May 5 at a special ceremony recognizing the intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. 

Joliet West Athletic Director Steve Millsaps and various JWHS coaches were present to introduce and recognize the student athletes.

“These students are very dedicated to their education and athletics,” said Millsaps.  “I am extremely proud of each and every one of them and wish them well in their future careers as student athletes.”

Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Casadi Brendemuehl, Volleyball, Roosevelt University Chicago; Julianne Kowalski, Bowling, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater; TreAnna Perry, Basketball, William Penn University; Kailey Foster, Basketball, Augustana College; Valencia Chandler, Basketball, Rend Lake College; Je’nae Rowe, Basketball, Rend Lake College; Sarah Schalk, Cross Country and Track, North Central College; LaSandra Armstrong, Track, Robert Morris University; Maria Arzate, Cross Country, Delta State University; Ronald Banner, Football, Robert Morris University; Niko Messino, Football, Carthage College; Jordan Brown, Football, Pasadena City College; Allias Roberts-Burnett, Basketball, Illinois Valley Community College; Elliot Fizer, Basketball, Elgin Community College; Patrick O’Connell, Cross Country, North Park University; Morgan Brooks, Dance, Robert Morris University; Brian Lyman, Volleyball, McKendree University; Armani Foster, Volleyball, Quincy University; Julia Liceaga, Softball, Murray State University; Joy Treasure, Softball, Illinois Central College; Zack Thomas, Baseball, Chicago State University; and Chad Benavidez, Baseball, Judson University.
