Dr. Arla Joins Sanitas Medical Group at Silver Cross Hospital

The internal medicine physician relocates her practice within New Lenox.

Latha Arla-Polavarapu, D.O., an experienced internal medicine physician, has joined Sanitas Medical Group—Jose Penaherrera, M.D.; Daniel Ramirez, M.D.; and Laura Scott, N.P.  

Sanitas Medical Group recently relocated to the new Silver Cross Hospital campus, Pavilion A, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd. in New Lenox. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Arla, call (815) 727-4292. New patients are welcome, and evening and Saturday appointments are available. Medicare and most insurance is accepted, and there's complimentary valet parking and wheel chair assistance available at Silver Cross Hospital.

Dr. Arla is board certified in internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Arla completed a general medicine residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she was recognized as Intern of the Year in 2001.  

The past five years, Dr. Arla has been caring for patients in the greater New Lenox community. She has a special interest in the diabetes management and care of women’s health issues and has received numerous awards for patient satisfaction including Professional Research Consultants Five Star Award and 2010, 2011 and 2012 Top Scoring Physician Awards for Overall Quality of Doctor Care.  

Dr. Arla is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and American Physicians of India. She is married with three children and resides in Orland Park.
