West High Selects Assistant Principal

From Joliet West High School

Joliet Township High School is proud to announce that Terri Schrishuhn will serve as the new Assistant Principal at Joliet West High School.

Schrishuhn has been with Joliet West High School for the past 10 years as Coordinator of Academy of Arts and Communication and Facility Manager.

“Since 2004, Terri has been a leader for district, as well as for Joliet West,” said JWHS Principal Teresa Gibson. “She’s well-positioned to assist the campus and the district in meeting the mission and vision of Joliet Township High School.”

Schrishuhn is looking forward to applying her leadership and management skills in a new capacity.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue as a member of the West Campus administrative team as the Assistant Principal for Support Operations, and I am extremely proud to serve the families of Joliet Township,” said Schrishuhn.

In her previous position, Schrishuhn worked to communicate and model the district’s mission, vision and Strategic Plan. She was responsible for the implementation of the career-themed academies and new initiatives associated with the district’s small learning communities.

Among a multitude of responsibilities, Schrishuhn supervised and evaluated over 40 certified staff members, coordinated the PSAE/ACT testing and participated in the EPAS data analysis.

Schrishuhn replaces previous JWHS Assistant Principal Jeff Clinton, who is moving out of state to be closer to family.
