District 202 Early Dismissal Due to Storm

Students are being released early, and all after-school and evening clubs and programs are cancelled because of the snowstorm moving through this afternoon and evening.

Additional info from District 202: Due to the inclement weather, all afterschool and evening activities will be canceled today. This includes such activities as athletic practices and contests, adult and student club meetings, rehearsals, and all Plainfield Park District programs scheduled in District 202 buildings.

Plainfield School District 202 issued this news release about early dismissal because of the snow:

To allow our bus drivers some flexibility given the weather conditions, high school students will be dismissed 20 minutes early at 1:50 p.m.

Middle school students will be dismissed as soon as all of their buses arrive after they have completed their high school runs.

Elementary school students will be dismissed as close to their normal time as possible. Also, all Title 1 afterschool programs and the Turnabout program will be cancelled.

We will share any updates through Connect-ED, the local and regional media and the District 202 website.
