Romeoville Christian Girls and Boys Open Their Basketball Season

Varsity Girls Basketball

Angelina Byers scored the first 6 points of the game and RCA never trailed. The Kingsmen built up a 9 point lead in the 1st half but Schaumburg Christian tied it up at the end of the 3rd quarter. With 3 minutes to go RCA had gotten our lead back up to 8 and held on until the end. Jessie Perez had 10 points, Angelina Byers had 12 points, and Erica Ware had 10 points along with 14 rebounds.

Varsity Boys Basketball

 The Kingsmen dropped their season opener by a score of 56-34. The season kicked off just over the border in Indiana against Hammond Baptist. Hammond came out by shooting the lights out by hitting 9 three point field goals in the first half, finishing the game with 12 total. The Kingsmen trailed the entire game. RCA gave the Swordsmen too many second chance points. The Kingsmen captain, Jake Janson led all scorers with 18 points. The Kingsmen travel to Lake Zurich Friday to play conference opponent Quentin Road Christian School.
