Ryan getting money for his district from the stimulas did not contribute to the debt. That money would be spent regardless. Passing the stimulas is what ran up the debt. And that is 100% on Obama and the democraps.

Biden showed the true face of a liberal. Rude, condesending and intolerent. Ryan ,agree with him or not, was courteous and respectful. There was only one adult on that stage and it was Ryan.

Paul Ryan did not technically lie.He cited sources that support his claim to be able to slash taxes 20% and make the plan work.Tax Policy Institute states their analysis shows that the only possible way that the Romney Ryan plan will work is in a "robust" economy...which we don't have. The other 4 sources cited are either blogs or opinion editorials by a Harvard economic professor (Feldstein) and a Princeton economic professor (Rosen). Both state that the plan is practically impossible to avoid increasing taxes on the middle class. There are simply not enough loopholes and deductions to close.Last was an organization that was hired by the Romney campaign to come up with any possible way to make the plan work...so I wouldn't credit them except that Mitt Romney's economic adviser quit 2 weeks ago after announcing that their plan won't work.He also added that pre-exising conditions will not be covered under Romney's insurance plan unless it was continuously covered in the past. OUCH!. Ryan merely presented an idea as practical and feasible that will only work under the absolutely most favorable circumstances, but why do we need it if the economy is already "robust"? Biden didn't lie either when he said it won't work...because it won't under current economic conditions. Ryan did lie when he repeatedly insisted that their plan had been done before...several times.Mitt Romney himself, during the Presidential debate, twice claimed it had never been attempted before in history...twice.

Edward, Remember, those "collective" expirations will NOT expire for incomes less than $250,000 if Obama gets his concession. They will expire if the Democrats and GOP do nothing...which is what they've been doing. If you make less than $250,000, you get to keep your tax rate on capital gains if Obama gets his way. You and the ultra rich get to keep your tax rate, but the middle class gets stuck, if Romney has his way. If they let the Bush tax cuts expire, they can always re-write another tax cut agreeable to both parties...yeah, right! Donkeys will fly out of my butt before our fearless leaders dare to go against Rove and Norquist! And... I haven't seen a Democrat that can get both parties to work together for us either!! Between the two, this Republican is voting against Romney, I'm getting old and Insurance i getting ridiculous...and I wants me my entitlements, like my VA and Social Security charity Romney and Ryan say I didn't earn.

You can bicker back and forth about comments made in the debate but the pure fact is that some 70 million of us tuned in to hear what both sides had to say and make up our own mind as to who deserves our vote. When Biden insulted us all by his antics he prevented us from getting the information we deserved by watching that so called debat. He is a classic jerk and if that is the guy a heart beat away from being the president...we have a real problem. If Biden worked for me he would be drawing unemployment! He has got to go as well as his boss. Why do politicians think we are all stupid? Because we keep reelecting them!
