Wanted: One 30-Foot-Plus Christmas Tree

The tree will be used for Joliet's downtown holiday display. If you donate the tree, city employees will take care of the work needed to cut it down and move it.

The city of Joliet is seeking the donation of a large evergreen to be used as the downtown Christmas tree display.

The tree, which must be at least to 30 to 35 feet, is the centerpiece of the city's holiday activities in the Van Buren Plaza. Every year, a local resident donates the tree used in the display.

If you're willing to donate a tree, the city will take care of cutting and moving the evergreen at no expense to the resident.
