Supreme Court Upholds Obama Health Care Law's Individual Mandate

The decision rejects arguments Congress went too far by requiring all Americans to have a health insurance policy.

The U.S. Supreme Court has backed the individual mandate of Obama's signature health care law, according to the AP

The court handed down the 5-4 decision Thursday morning. The court "upheld the mandate as a tax, although concluded it was not valid as an exercise of Congress' commerce clause power," according to the Huffington Post.
