Joliet Library Director to Retire at Year's End

Dianne Harmon says she wants to spend more time traveling with her husband; a company has been hired to find her replacement.

Dianne Harmon, director of the , has announced she will retire on Dec. 31.

Harmon, 68, of Shorewood, a library employee for 24 years ago, plans to spend her retirement traveling with her husband, Jim, a story in the Joliet Herald-News said.

“There are a lot of places in the United States I haven’t seen,” she told the paper.
