Woman's Body Found in Des Plaines River Near Brandon Road: Report
State trooper says coroner's autopsy likely will determine whether death was a result of foul play.
A woman's body was discovered in the Des Plaines River near Brandon Road on Thursday afternoon, according to a Sun-Times News Group report.
"It is the body of a white female who appears to have died very recently," stated Illinois State Police Capt. Cindy Benson in the report.
She said in the Sun-Times News Group report investigators will wait for the Will County Coroner's office to conduct an autopsy before determining whether her death was the result of foul play.
