Woman Missing Since Mid-June; Police Seeking Public's Help

Anyone who knows anything about the location of Anne Gay is asked to contact the Will County Sheriff's Office.

A Joliet Township woman has been missing since mid-June, and the Will County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating her.

Anne Gay, 52, of 135 SE Circle Drive, was reported missing by her boyfriend, James Borg, on June 14, according to Will County Deputy Chief Ken Kaupas. Her family and friends say they last heard from her on June 9 and she hasn't gone to work since June 10, Kaupas said.

Gay and Borg’s relationship has been described as abusive, he said, and Gay was arrested for domestic battery on April 30.

She's been diagnosed with depression, and is known to abuse prescription medication, Kaupas said. She's made one suicide attempt in the past.

Anyone with information on Gay or her whereabouts is asked to call 815-727-8574, Ext. 4963, or 815-727-8575. The public can go to willcosheriff.org and click on the web tip tab to submit information.
