Woman Busted for Photo of Tape-Bound Child
Megan Reed was charged with unlawful restraint and endangering a child, according to Joliet Police Chief Michael Trafton.
A woman who bound and gagged her 1-year-old son with tape and then sent a photo of the child to his father has been arrested on charges of unlawful restraint and endangering the life or health of a child.
The incident occurred in February, when Megan A. Reed, 23, was watching several children in Joliet, but was not investigated until September, when the boy's father discovered the photo on his phone, Police Chief Michael Trafton told the Joliet Herald-News. Reed was arrested Tuesday.
