Two People Shot Sunday in Joliet

Victims said they didn't see who shot them.

Joliet police are investigating the shootings of two people at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Joliet Street.

According to WJOL, the victims told police they heard the shots, but did not see who shot them. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries, according to the report.

In Chicago, at least 82 people were shot over the holiday weekend during an 84-hour period from Thursday afternoon to early Monday morning, according to the Tribune.
