Man Charged in Crest Hill Armed Robbery; 2nd Suspect Sought

The pair allegedly targeted an acquaintance as their victim, Crest Hill police say.

A Romeoville man and his accomplice, armed with a weapon, stole several items from a Crest Hill man who they knew as an acquaintance, Crest Hill Deputy Police Chief Ed Clark said.

Gregory A. Hernandez-Bullock, 19, of 542 Fair Meadows, and a second suspect are accused of going to the victim's home in the 2400 block of Ingalls Avenue at about 7 p.m. Thursday and demanding the man turn over several items, Clark said.

What was taken and the type of weapon used are not being disclosed because Crest Hill police are still seeking the second man, he said. Until he's in custody, the deputy chief said he did not want to reveal anything that might jeopardize the arrest.

However, Clark did say that police believe the suspects deliberately targeted their victim and that the crime was premeditated, not random.

Hernandez-Bullock is being held in the Will County jail in lieu of $60,000 bond.
