Update: Missing Joliet Teen Returns Home, Parents Say
The 16-year-old Plainfield South student had last spoken to her parents at about 8 a.m. Wednesday, a family spokeswoman said.

Missing student Amanda Chadwell has returned to her Joliet home, according to family spokeswoman Judi Stapleton.
No details on the 16-year-old girl's disappearance, whereabouts or return were released by the family, Stapleton said.

A 16-year-old Plainfield South High School student from Joliet has been reported missing, and anyone knowing of her whereabouts is asked to contact the Joliet Police Department.
Joliet Police Cmdr. Brian Benton said it's believed the teen left of her own accord and foul play is not involved.
Amanda is described as having brown/blond hair and brown eyes and is 5-feet-4 in height.
