Police Blotter: Car Burglary, Gun Possession, Theft Charges

Arrests made by the Joliet Police Department, Will County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies.

Bonifacio Cuevas-Valencia, 24, 25 S. Cagwin, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on June 9 on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage.

Jeffrey Joseph Paganessi, 34, 405 Jessie, Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on June 9 on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

Thaddeus Raine, 37, 215 Lincoln, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on June 9 on a charge of retail theft.

Marshall T. Shoop, 50, 1426 E. Washington, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of violating an order of protection.

Shane M. Slovick, 31, 2410 Erkskine, Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on June 9 on charges of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.

DeShawn B. Smith, 21, 211 N. Center, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on June 9 on charges of possession of a firearm by a gang member, defacing firearm identification markings, felon in possession of a firearm, criminal trespass to a building and possession of cannabis.

Antonia Sparks, 41, 2417 Lockner, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on June 9 on a charge of retail theft.

Matthew C. Thom, 30, 4429 Timber Ridge, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on charges of criminal trespass and burglary to a motor vehicle.

Jorge Zagal, 23, 405 Oscar St., Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on June 9 on charges of driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed.

Ebone T. Thorpe, 20, 215 Lincoln, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department on June 9 on a charge of retail theft.
