Plainfield Woman Charged With Leaving Dogs in Car Parked Outside Walmart on Hot Day

A young woman from Plainfield was charged with cruelty to animals for allegedly leaving a pair of dogs in a parked car Monday afternoon.

Hailey Aichele, 20, of 1901 Mystic Drive left the dogs in the car for at least a half hour while the temperature was 81 degrees, police said.

The dogs were left in a car outside the Route 59 Walmart, police said.
