UPDATED: New Lenox Woman, 42, Killed by Metra Train in New Lenox
Police continue to investigate the death of Mary Pochordo.
A New Lenox woman was struck and killed by a Metra train near Vine St. and Route 30 in New Lenox Monday afternoon.
Mary A. Pochordo, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:17 p.m. An autopsy was performed Tuesday. Final cause and manner of death are pending toxicological, autopsy and police reports.
Metra police are investigating.
