A Mississippi woman whose cell phone last registered in Joliet has been located in town.
Judianne Pace, who was reported missing Sept. 6 and reportedly hadn't been heard from since Aug. 31, was discovered in the parking lot of Sam's Club, 321 S. Larkin Ave., by a Joliet police officer, according to a story published online by WLBT-TV in Jackson, Miss.
Pace, of Rankin County, Miss., told the officer she was fine and not in any danger or trouble, the story said.
She also contacted her family, who took down their missing person Facebook page and posted a note on Pace's Facebook page announcing she had been found. Friends and family members had been posting messages there urging the 34-year-old woman to get in touch and exchanging information.
No additional information about why the woman is in Joliet has been made public.
