A Joliet man may be paralyzed after being shot in the neck at a gas station early Saturday morning, Joliet police said.
The 31-year-old man was taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet shortly after the 3 a.m. attack in the 300 block of Chicago Street and was later flown by helicopter to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to a story in the Joliet Herald News.
The assailant was on foot and no motive for the attack is known, police told the newspaper.
