Man Busted Twice for Huffing Compressed Air, Cops Say
David Terry was arrested the second time after he was found laying in the road at Caton Farm and Rivertowne Drive, Joliet police said.
A man was twice arrested this weekend for huffing compressed air, the second time after he was spotted laying in the road near Caton Farm and Rivertowne Drive, Joliet Police Cmdr. Al Roechner said.
A little more than 24 hours later, at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Terry was spotted prone in the roadway by a passing Joliet police sergeant and charged with use, sale or delivery of intoxicating compounds and violation of a bond requirement, Roechner said.
He is being held in the Will County jail pending a bond hearing.
According to jail and circuit clerk records, Terry has been arrested twice previously this year on similar charges -- in May for driving under the influence of alcohol and intoxicating compounds and in July for unlawful use of an intoxicating compound. In November 2009 and August 2008, he was also arrested on unlawful use of an intoxicating compound charges, records show.
