Joliet Woman Locked Dog in Car While at the Louis Mall: Cops

The dog was cooped up in a locked car on an 86-degree evening, police said.

A Joliet woman left her dog locked in a car outside the Louis Mall on an 86-degree evening, police said.

Terri Rochell, 45, of 3559 Tyler Drive was charged with animal cruelty for allegedly leaving the dog cooped up in her car about 6 p.m. Tuesday.

An officer waited about 15 minutes for Rochell to return to her car, police said.
