A 31-year-old man faces a charge of felony child pornography after police executed a search warrant at his Joliet home Thursday.
Ryan Hewitt, 2759 Lancaster Dr., was arrested Thursday morning after the search turned up "positive results" for child pornography, Will County Deputy Sheriff Ken Kaupas said. Hewitt's computer was seized during the search, police said.
According to Kaupas, the search came after a joint investigation of the sheriff's department and the Will County State's Attorney's Office led to information that Hewitt was allegedly downloading child pornography.
Hewitt was due in court Friday afternoon. Bond information was not immediately available.
