Joliet Man Charged With Downloading and Sharing Child Pornography
The police raided the Joliet man's Hennepin Drive home Thursday morning.
The Joliet police raided a Hennepin Drive residence Thursday morning and arrested a man on child pornography charges.
Manuel Salazar, 47, of 3595 Hennepin was taken into custody about 5:45 a.m.
In October, the Will County High Tech Crimes Unit developed information that child pornography had been downloaded to and shared from Salazar's home, police said.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and hit the house Thursday.
Salazar was booked into the Will County jail. He was scheduled to appear in bond court Friday.
