Joliet Man Charged with Distributing Child Porn

A 54-year-old Joliet man faces felony charges of child pornography possession and distribution following an investigation by the Will County State's Attorney's High Technology Crimes Unit.

Kohlman C. Cowger was arrested Thursday afternoon after the high-tech crimes unit and Joliet police executed a search warrant at his home in the 3400 block of Karen Drive.

Joliet Police Chief Brian Benton said the search yielded evidence sufficient to charge Cowger with four counts of possession of child pornography and one count of aggravated dissemination of child pornography.

Cowger was due in Will County court Friday afternoon.
