Joliet Man Busted for Sex Abuse of Teen

Police arrested Luis Loza, who is accused of allegedly having sex with a teenage girl for than two years, according to charges.

A 25-year-old Joliet man who allegedly had sex with an underage girl several times over a two-year period has been arrested by the Joliet police.

Luis Loza, of 214 Madison, was booked into the Will County jail Wednesday on three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to Will County State's Attorney's Office spokesman Charles Pelkie.

The Class 2 felony charges state that Loza had sex and other forms of sexual contact with the victim, who was identified only as a girl between the ages of 13 and 17. If convicted, each charge carries a prison sentence of three to seven years.

Pelkie said their information indicates that the sexual abuse began on June 28, 2010, and continued through Aug. 15, 2012.

He would not disclose the suspect's relationship to the victim or how the situation came to the attention of the police.

The charges are classified as "aggravated" because the victim was at least five years younger than Loza, Pelkie said.

Loza has been released from jail on $20,000 bond.

Maybe some new manhole lids with rubber rings to stop all the flooding of peoples houses,AndRead More actually climb down in the manhole and see if it is leaking instead of paying all of these people in Joliet getting flooded out by YOUR SANITARY System. Some paint being scrapped off the City Hall Hand Rails that will cut ya up.
