Police confiscated Edgar Lupian's computers and passport and arrested him at his Schiller Park job on Friday, a spokesman for the Will County state's attorney said.

A man who was downloading pornographic movies and photos of children under the age of 13 has been charged with aggravated child pornography.

Edgar A. Lupian, 24, of 1621 Glenwood, was arrested on a warrant at his Schiller Park workplace Friday following a two-month investigation by Rich Wistocki of the high-tech crime unit, spokesman Charles Pelkie said Saturday.

Wistocki found Lupian online downloading pornographic material and was able to track him to his Glenwood address, Pelkie said. The forensic investigation was done in conjunction with the and the Will County Sheriff's Office.

Several computers and other material, including Lupian's passport, were seized during a warrant-authorized search of his house Friday, Pelkie said.

There is no evidence that Lupian was manufacturing or distributing child pornography, he said. The two counts of aggravated child pornography, a Class 2 felony, stem from his downloading of materials featuring children under the age of 13; a third charge of possession of child pornography, a Class 3 felony, stems from materials featuring teens under the age of 18.
