The man lives across the street from Presence St. Joseph Medical Center and was bothered by the loud ambulances driving back and forth, police said.

A Joliet man bothered by loud ambulances driving past his house on their way to and from the hospital across the street called 911 six times before walking over to complain in person, police said.

Richard Kweiser, 55, of 2219 Glenwood Ave. was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly making a false complaint to a 911 operator. He was arrested after he showed up at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center about 9:30 p.m.

After repeatedly calling 911, Kweiser walked across the street to St. Joseph's and confronted paramedics about the loud ambulances, police said.

Kweiser was booked into the Will County jail and remained in custody Tuesday afternoon.
