Joliet Man Again Arrested For Allegedly Violating Protective Order

Richard Allen was arrested and jailed three times in two weeks for allegedly violating a protective order.

A Joliet man jailed twice in eight days for allegedly violating court orders to stay away from his ex-wife and children managed to make it three times in two weeks when he was locked up Tuesday.

Richard Allen, 66, of 1509 Black Road was again taken into custody and remains at the Will County jail.

Allen's ex-wife reportedly called the police and told them he violated a protective order she had obtained. When officers arrived at her residence, she showed the phone messages and email from Allen, police said.

Allen was arrested about 6:15 p.m.

Allen was taken to the county jail on Jan. 21 and Jan. 28 for the same alleged offense. He pleaded guilty in one case and the other was dismissed, but following his arrest Tuesday prosecutors moved to revoke his conditional discharge.
