A four-bay garage housing two boats and a car went up in flames Monday night, according to the Joliet Fire Department.
The fire began shortly before 10 p.m. at 2523 Von Esch Road, Capt. Doug Frederick said. The detached structure, which was fully involved when firefighters arrived, was a complete loss, he said. No damage estimate was available.
The source of the fire is under investigation. Crews were on the scene for about an hour and a half putting out the blaze and ensuring the site was safe, Frederick said.
