Open Houses at Joliet Fire Stations This Weekend
Residents can tour the city's 10 fire houses and get a closer look at fire equipment from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Joliet Fire Department will hold open houses at all of its fire stations from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The event gives residents a chance to tour the Joliet fire stations, including the newest one that earlier this year on Laraway Road, and to get a closer view of the fire trucks. It's part of the department's recognition of Fire Prevention Week, which ends Saturday.
