Joliet Blotter: Retail Theft, LSD Possession, DUI, Domestic Battery

Arrests reported by Joliet police, other agencies.

March 6

Vincent B. Alexander, 18, of the 2200 block of Madonna, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of retail theft, according to jail records.

Michael John Bright, 39, of the 600 block of Morgan, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of burglary, according to police. 

Joel Ibarra, 38, of the 700 block of Cayuga, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of DUI, driving/never issued a license, driving an uninsured vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said.

Joseph R. Dawes, 32, of the 6400 block of Kostner, Chicago, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of DUI and improper traffic lane use, police said.

Donald Sickmier, 36, of the 200 block of Raynor, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of domestic battery and knowingly damaging property, according to jail records.

Jorge Sarabia, 36, of the 0-100 block of Maplewood, Warrenville, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of knowingly damaging property, according to police.

Daniel J. Zawadka, 32, of the 2400 block of Saddle Ridge, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, police said.

Kizzie Johnson, 36, of the 2700 block of Fairway, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of retail theft, police said.

March 7

Adolfo Martinez, 45, of the 3900 block of Landings, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving 1-10 mph over the limit, driving without a license and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

McKinley R. Thigpen, 60, of the 200 block of Cass Street, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on a charge of domestic battery, police said.

Benjamin Todd Johnson, 27, of the 200 block of William, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Kyle McMillan, 18, of the 900 block of Prairie, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, delivery of cannabis to a person under age 18 and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Steven Newell, 25, of the 1300 block of Cutter, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of domestic battery and resisting a peace officer, according to jail records.

March 8

Jeronimo Gonzalez-Munoz, 27, of the 500 block of Third Avenue, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Angelo Starr, 19, of the 500 block of DesPlaines, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of possession of 15-100 grams of LSD or an analogous substance, according to jail records.

March 9

Bernard Carlos Castleberry, 58, of the 600 block of McDonough, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of domestic battery, according to jail records.

Nicholas B. Harris, 27, of the 2200 block of Cottonwood, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of domestic battery, police said.
