Intoxicated Homeless Woman Charged With Letting Young Children Play on River Wall Near Joliet Casino: Cops

The homeless woman was arrested by Harrah's Casino, police said.

An intoxicated homeless woman allowed her young children to play on the river wall by Harrah's Casino, police said.

Jillette Love, 28, was arrested and charged with endangering the life or health of a child about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Love's children, ages 2 and 4, were protected from falling into the water by nothing more than a safety chain running along the river wall, police said.

Love, who jail records say at one time lived on Magnolia Avenue in Joliet, was previously jailed on charges of domestic battery, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and possessing contraband in a penal institution.

Love did not go to jail Wednesday as she was released on her own recognizance.
