Infant's Death May Be Linked to Neglect
The state is investigating the death of the Joliet year-old boy; the mother has faced neglect and abuse charges in the pat.
A woman is being investigated for neglect in the death of her year-old son.
Deajon Fields, who lived in the 400 block of South Joliet Street, was pronounced dead at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, according to a Sun-Times Media article. His mother has previously been investigated by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services for neglect and abuse involving her children, the article said.
