Gunman Menaces Ex at La Mex: Cops

The man pulled a gun and told his ex-girlfriend he had "something for her new boyfriend," police said.

A man armed with a pistol menaced his girlfriend at the restaurant where she works, police said.

Kendall Williamson, 21, of 300 W. Caton Farm Road in Lockport was charged with the aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of ammunition without a firearm owner's identification card, possession of a firearm without an owner's identification card, violating an order of protection, aggravated assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the 4:30 p.m. incident at La Mex.

Police were sent to the West Jefferson Street restaurant to investigate a report of a man threatening a woman with a handgun. The gunman had already taken off in a blue car before the cops were called, police said.

Officers located the car nearby, pulled it over and found a 9-mm pistol under the driver's seat.

The driver, Williamson, turned out to be the woman's former boyfriend, and the woman had a protective order against him in which she accused him of stalking her.

Police said Williamson pulled the pistol on the woman and told her he had "something for her new boyfriend."
