If you see fire trucks and firefighters descending on a building next to the Jewel at Larkin and Theodore on Friday, just remember this: It's a drill, and only a drill.
The Joliet Fire Department is conducting a live fire drill exercises with the Aurora Fire Department for training purposes. They will begin at 8 a.m. and finish at about 4:30 p.m., according to a release issued by the city of Joliet.
Caution/warnings signs will be posted along Theodore Street alerting motorists to the training, and drivers are urged to use caution when going through the area, the release said.
