Dead Man Found in SUV on Springfield Ave. Identified as 29-Year-Old From Minooka
The Minooka man shot himself once in the head, an official said.
The man found slumped in a sport utility vehicle parked on Springfield Avenue has been identified as a 29-year-old from Minooka.
Mark Evans was pronounced dead where he was discovered Monday evening on Springfield.
Will County Deputy Coroner Robert Brenczewski said there was no sign of foul play.
Evans was apparently killed by a "single, self-inflicted gunshot wound," said Joliet Police Chief Brian Benton.
