Channahon Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

A 31-year-old Channahon man who crashed his motorcycle on Front Street in Channahon Township died Sunday night, the Will County Coroner's Office said.

Brian A. Elsinga was pronounced dead at 8:23 p.m. at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. An autopsy done Monday determined the cause of death to be "multiple injuries from a motorcycle mishap," the office reported.

The accident occurred about three-quarters of a mile west of Frontage Road in Channahon Township. No other vehicles were involved. 

The Will County Sheriff's Office is handling the accident investigation.

FestBest- you and I get a ticket for no seatbelt inside a 4000 lb piece of steel- these mopes don't have to wear a helmet and that's legal? as far as I'm concerned getting on a motorcycle means you have just signed your own death warrant.
