Busy Weekend—Joliet Man Feuds With Neighbors, Punches Wife & Gets Arrested Twice in 2 Days: Cops

The Joliet man's second arrest of the weekend has kept him in jail for a while.

A Joliet man managed to get arrested twice in two days after feuding with his neighbors, yelling at his wife and punching her in the face, police said.

Anthony Figliulo, 35, of 1915 Prairie Ridge Drive was first charged with disorderly conduct about 11 p.m. Friday.

Figliulo had been drinking "all night" with his neighbors from across the street and "having a good time," police said, but then engaged in a "verbal altercation" with his wife.

Figliulo allegedly proceeded to scream obscenities at his wife and neighbors. He also accused his wife of being a lesbian and having an affair with her sister, police said.

The Figliulos retired to their home across the street but the neighbors called the cops when they heard even more screams and "loud banging," and feared for the safety of Figliulo's wife and children, police said.

When officers arrived, Figliulo called them "f---ing a------s" and various other horrible epithets, police said, and he was eventually arrested.

About 2 p.m. the following day the police were back at Figliulo's place. The wife had called the law and reportedly told how Figliuolo was angry with her for not coming to pick him up at the police station. He then punched her in the face, police said.

Figliulo was charged with domestic battery and taken to the Will County jail. The wife who failed to pick him up from the police station apparently wasn't in any hurry to post his bond either as he was still locked up Monday afternoon, according to county records.
