AREA YOUTH FOOTBALL TEAM RISING TO THE TOP

Youth football team gets to the top the hard way. Now in its third season as Joliet's newest youth football team, the Ravens have clawed their way to the top with 3 of 4 teams advancing to the semi finals of chicagoland's toughest youth football league. The Ravens superlight will head into the semi finals with a perfect 9 - 0 record and look to continue what they started back in August with a goal of winning the league championship. Ravens JV had a slow 1 - 2 start to the season but since then have won 6 straight and look to get some revenge this weekend from a early season loss of 6 - 0 to Frankfort. This will be a don't miss game with some great defense and a new and improved explosive ravens offense.  Ravens varsity was that team everyone in the league counted out after a 0 - 3 start and backs to the wall to even make the playoffs. It took hard work for the ravens varsity to win its last 6 games and got the # 7 seed into the playoffs. After opening up last week against the # 2 seed Frankfort white to only surprise them with a early 14 - 0 lead and wouldn't look back upsetting the # 2 seed 34 -6 in the first rd of playoffs. Ravens superlight will play at Providence Hs at 11:15am on Sunday October 27th. Ravens varsity will play at Providence HS at 1pm on Sunday October 27th. Ravens Jv will play at Bourbonnais Bears field at 3pm on Saturday October 26th. Come out and support the youth in your community. For more info about our program go to www.jolietravenes.com
