Patricia Ann Payton, age 47 years, passed Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Born in Joliet, Ill., she attended Fairmont Junior High School and Lockport East High School.
Preceded in death by her stepfather, Otha Sutton Sr.
Survived by her parents, Lucille Sutton of Joliet, Ill., and Willie (Minnie) Payton of Beloit, Wis.; five children, Ebony Madison of Jackson, Miss., and Minister Elvis Madison, Erica Madison, Porsha Thomas and Latriece Long, all of Joliet, Ill.; four sisters, Sheila Coleman of Grand Rapids, Mich., Helen Crawford of Beloit, Wis., Shirley (Charles) Miggin of Canton, Miss., and Tonelle Robinson of Joliet, Ill., five brothers; Donnie Payton of Leakesville, Miss., Anthony Payton of Grand Rapids, Mich., Meton Crawford of Beloit, Wis., and Otha (Beverly) Sutton and Steve Sutton, both of Joliet, Ill.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2013, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Saving Power Church, 701 Henderson Ave., Joliet, Ill. Service at 7:00 p.m. Minister Elvis Madison and Pastor Eddie Pierce, officiating. Interment Saturday, December 28, 2013 10:00 a.m. at Elmhurst Cemetery.
