Obituary: Deborah A. Gillam

Deborah A. Gillam (nee Westbrooks)

Age 52, went home to Glory, Thursday, March 13, 2014 from a lingering illness. She was born in Chicago, IL to Charles and Ruthie Westbrooks on December 4, 1961. Deborah was an amazing woman and will be missed. 

Deborah is preceded in death by her son, Dewayne Gillam; four brothers, one brother-in-law, and one aunt. 

She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Gillam; two children, Latasha and Jeremy Gillam; parents, Charles and Ruthie Westbrooks; loving brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Lively Hope COGIC 308 N. Midland Ave., Joliet, IL from 9:00am – 10:30am. Homegoing service at 10:30AM, Pastor Frank Edmon Jr., officiating. Interment following at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
