Everta Sims Obituary

Everta Sims, age 76 years, died Monday October 21, 2013 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born in Laurel, Miss., she resided in Joliet for 63 years, retiring from Mark Shale Corp. She was a member of the Church of Christ on Margaret Street for many years. 

Her father, husband, son, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted mother, Lillie Mae Clayton, survives Everta, as do four brothers, William Clayton of Orlando, FL, Russell Clayton of Joliet, James Clayton of Seattle and Keith Clayton of Atlanta; four sisters, Cynthia Crosby, Woodie Oneal, Vernell McDonald, all of Joliet, and Karen Willis of Atlanta; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, October 28, 2013, at Range Funeral Home, 202 S. Eastern Ave., Joliet, IL. Visitation 10-11AM and interment at Elmhurst Cemetery.
