Al 'Bubba' Hinton Obituary

A funeral service will be held Saturday at Second Baptist Church in Joliet.

Al R. "Bubba" Hinton, age 73, passed suddenly on Sunday, December 29, 2013. 

Born July 23, 1940, in Laurel, Miss., he moved to the Lockport/Joliet area as a child. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and fought in Vietnam. He later worked construction and retired from Labor Local Union No. 75. He was an avid bowler and fisherman.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather.

Bubba is survived by five children, Tyrone, Novel, Reanetta, Deborah and Michael; eight grandchildren; one sister, Jimmie Lee Boykin of Aurora, IL; and one brother, Joseph Hinton of Kona, Hawaii.
 
Visitation: Sunday, January 5, 2013, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Range Funeral Home, 202 S. Eastern Ave., Joliet, IL 60433. Funeral Services: Monday, January 6, 2013. Visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am, with services beginning at 11:00am at Second Baptist Church, 156 S. Joliet St., Joliet IL 60436. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 Hoff Road, Elwood, IL, the Rev. Larry V. Tyler officiating.
