Have You Seen This Cat?

Ned, an orange tabby, was lost on Friday in Joliet.

Four years ago, Melissa Laurich adopted Ned, an orange tabby whose age was not known.

"I adopted him about four years ago from a no kill shelter," she said. "They weren’t sure how old he was and he had been there about three years."

Sometime Friday, the cat, whose name is Ned, must have escaped from the house and the family hasn't seen him since. The family lives in the Cathedral area of Joliet.

Laurich estimates that Ned is about 7 years old. He has all of his claws, is an orange tabby with hazel eyes and weighs about 10 pounds.

The cat is not microchipped and was not wearing a collar. Laurich said, however, she had just taken Ned in for his shots a few weeks ago.

If you think you have seen Ned, call Laurich at 815-723-2287 or 815-791-4049.

I saw this cat today. I'm also in the Cathedral Area on Oneida/William. He was near Reed/Oneida on Oneida, going towards William.

We had just called it a night from searching for the day. My dog was going crazy to go outside and my Ned was looking for the food we left out at the back door.
We appreciate all the leads and phone calls and are so happy he's back home!!!!!!!

You need to put the correct phone number. You have 8 numbers listed instead of 7.

Hope you find it. Replacing all your credit cards and such is a pain.

Maybe some new manhole lids with rubber rings to stop all the flooding of peoples houses,AndRead More actually climb down in the manhole and see if it is leaking instead of paying all of these people in Joliet getting flooded out by YOUR SANITARY System. Some paint being scrapped off the City Hall Hand Rails that will cut ya up.
